A moron turns genius and foresees his own doomThousands of deadly birds stalk men then attack with suicidal furyA lonely man wins a chance for new happiness and loses it through split second doubtNon. I grabbed this off the shelf at a used book store for the title story The Birds I love the movie and was curious to see how the story was in comparison; it's actually uite harrowing and similarly mysterious I have to say though that what really made this book was Of Missing Persons by Jack Finney It was my favorite in this book as it had a really mysterious air about it and didn't leave too many unanswered uestions I'm actually interested in reading by the author and plan to see what other things he's written I highly recommend reading this story at least whether or not you read the entire bookTwo Bottles of Relish kept me guessing and while I sort of figured it out early they still didn't explain one pretty big plot hole view spoilerWhat about the bones hide spoiler
