The Bitcoin Clowns Master Shanghai Book 3 Reluctant to tell him anything and law enforcement was grossly unfamiliar with these new kinds of financial instruments to see through the thick plot of deception in front of them Jong had to rely on his exceptional luck incredible courage and loyalties of his friends once again to find his cousin and retrieve the missing millions Could Jong succeed or would he be sacrificed and fade into obscurity in the latest fiercest fight of the century on the digital realm for the kind of new digital gold and the power to control key businesses and even governments around the world? The action packed fiction told in first person perspective follows Jong He a highly intelligent but socially awkward Chinese programmer and his friends around the financial capital of the country in the cat and mouse chase of the biggest cryptocurrency heist of our tim This was a painful read I don’t know if this was due to formatting issues with the Mobi version I received – but every page was filled with a line and a half of text and then a double line gap – so no sentences were complete and it was very annoying to try and read in that manner The other problem was the obvious lack of a native English speaker having edited the book The grammar and spelling errors were than numerous One bad example was the use of ‘remaining' when it should have been ‘renamed’This made it very hard at times to follow the story and even to figure out where it was going at times The storyline when you could follow it was ok as a concept but until the very end was not put in a very clear manner nor very interesting I forced myself to finish the book to see if anything could redeem it and all the action at the end went some way to helping in this aspectThe discussions of cryptocurrency were at times confusing and seemed like a description of a pyramid scheme than anything else Transactions which as supposed to be untraceable were able to be traced back to a person’s digital wallet and thus identify a person by the transaction details themselvesAn ok story but made too painful to read easily and deeply let down by its lack of or bad editing I received an ARC copy of this book from Hidden Gems and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above
