Got an advance copy from Netgalley for an honest reviewI am so sad to see this series end it’s heartbreaking This last book rounded everything off nicely and the ending it made me cry smile and laugh This was the book to end all books and I’m glad that both authors found a way to get all the characters in the series to fit in here and make it flow well Switch is a very interesting character and no matter what gender she play’s she’s sexy as hell and knows how to work it Ariadne was frustrating but I could see where she’s coming from some of the situations she was in made me laugh Her confusion on her attraction to Alex Switch a man made her very frustrated and angry Her friends are crazy as I don’t know what and their conversations were just hilarious Monty and Jack made me shake my head through the whole book those two crack me up I loved loved loved reading this book and I highly recommend it

Blood is thicker than pride The final book in the Elite Operative Series brings together foes family and friends to start a new orderSpecial Agent Switch needs to get close to Greek tycoon Konstantinos Lykourgos the prime suspect in the. This is the 7th and final book in the Elite Operatives series by Kim Baldwin and Xenia Alexiou Whereas each book has its own story and introduces a new pair of characters I highly recommend reading the series in order There is a background story that runs throughout and will make sense and be satisfying if read in order The whole series is like reading about what James Bond would have been like as a woman The Elite Operatives Organization EOO is based in Colorado and takes in orphaned children and trains them to be spies for lack of a better word Each operative has their own talent In this book Agent Switch is tasked with locating and recovering an artifact that was stolen from a monastery in Greece Her specialty is that due to her androgynous looks she can seamlessly transition between male and female roles Even her given name Alex can be used in any situation Alex's investigation leads her to the family yacht of shipping magnate Konstantinos Lykourgos Alex secures a position aboard his ship where she meets and finds herself attracted to the suspect's daughter Ariadne The problem for Agent Switch is for this job she is playing the part of a man and Ariadne is a lesbian Since this is the last story in the series expect appearances by many of the previous characters such as Jack Cassidy Allegra Monty and of course one of the most insidious villains ever written TAll of the Elite Operatives books have been action packed although this one a little less than most It takes a good uarter of the book to lay out the story of Lykourgos and the artifact why he wants it where it is and how it wants to get it Plus Agent Switch is introduced along with a little of her backstory The story between Alex and Ariadne is complex due to Alex's posing as a man and leads to many scenarios of angst and distrust between the two The background story between Jack and Monty and Jack and T takes up considerably less space than the main story The only thing I would have liked to see in this last book is involvement by the previous characters Outside of Jack Allegra is really the only one mentioned at any length Overall I think fans of the series will be content with how the authors chose to end the series
