Annoying heroineAnd the hero isn’t much better This novel is well written and with rich detail but I was constantly annoyed by the monofaceted personalities of the leads She is so sweet and stupid He’s too romantic and emotional for a Knight I skimmed most of the last 13 of the book

I really enjoyed this book The feelings between Keri and Chloe were palpable and his story was very sad I don't read many medieval romances so this was a rare treat At times Chloe frustrated me with her choices but overall I thought the book was really enjoyable I was also hoping for an epilogue that would show me a bit of their life in the years to come I don't love when books have the big climax and then are suddenly over I also hope that the rest of the Dragonblade series will have some continuation of these families but not sure they do I will read from this author
